Canceled: Integrating Societal Impacts into Your Proposal, Career, and Research Identity

  • 8:30 AM - 12:00 PM
  • Collaborative ResearchTraining and Development

You will learn how to effectively build a broader impacts effort in the context of your research. This workshop, presented by the Grants Hub and the NSF-funded Center for Advancing Research Impacts in Society (ARIS Center), is structured to give participants a better understanding of the broader impacts criterion, learn how to develop and incorporate strong BI plans into their grant proposals, and identify local partners and resources to assist in their efforts. There will be some emphasis on NSF CAREER proposals and ways to discover your own broader impacts identity that can be incorporated throughout your research career.
Target audience: Faculty who are looking for a better understanding of how to integrate broader impacts work into their research identities, and those who would like more information on potential campus and community partners.
